The fourth edition of the digital culture poland mobile database Hakctudo takes place in a virtual and free environment in the 2020 edition. The online format was adopted due to the new coronavirus pandemic (Sars-Cov-2). To participate, simply go to the event website.

The festival offers lectures, exhibitions and even the broadcast of a drone race. The event will also feature a DIY project fair. In addition, there will be the traditional university programming marathon, the so-called hackathon. The event will be held between October 16th and 25th.

According to the event organizers, one of the most anticipated attractions is Hack Drones , where a race between eight professional drone pilots will be broadcast on a circuit in Cidade das Artes, in Barra da Tijuca, West Zone of Rio. The competition was recorded in advance in accordance with the safety recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO).

Registration for groups wishing to participate in the Hackathon is free and limited. Collectives wishing to exhibit their projects can also register for free on the event's official website . Access to other attractions is free during the period of each program.

The program is varied and offers cultural and entertainment experiences that address technology, innovation, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

“Hacktudo is a great meeting to teach, engage and integrate people of all ages, about the latest developments in the digital world and technology”, said Miguel Colker, one of the festival’s creators.


What is Hacktudo
The event began in 2014 as a hackathon, where programmers, students and professionals involved in software development came together to create solutions within challenges. Today, Hacktudo is a festival that seeks to attract different audiences and address social issues such as racial and gender equity .

Hack Delas is an attraction that offers the public interviews with professional women in the area, curated by the Minas Programam collective.
