Two automatic machine guns firing in all directions

Post by rosebaby3892 »

And I'm not even talking about the rest of the dialogue: the ones between Katniss and Gale made me throw my armrest at the screen (yes, the one torn off because of the propacl... damn, I'm getting blood in my mouth just saying that word). Not because Katniss still wants to kill Snow. And Gale offers to go with her. But to get to him... you have to steal the Hollow from Commander Jean-Jacques! Which is very cute: Katniss thought it was monstrous to besiege a fortress without killing anyone earlier in the film, but abandoning her team without a plan in the middle of the giant minefield that is the Capitol after stealing their only plan, no problem. This... this quality of character writing. I have stars in my eyes. Ninja stars, eh. To make it go down better.

Let's move on and wait for dawn to break so the squad can resume its wanderings through the ravaged streets of the Capitol. Soon, the team enters a small square where, again, amidst the traces of combat, it detects a trap: until they run out of ammunition. After taking cover to trigger the trap, our thieves take a few steps... and Commander Jean-Jacques is hit by a mine, buy phone number list which is a shame because the Hollow detects everything EXCEPT mines, mind you. That's a shame for a mine-clearing tool. The commander and another Jean-Jacques are propelled into the air before falling heavily.

So everyone rushes to the commander and...

Um... yes? And the other injured one?

Well, the production lets the actor scream and moan in the background without anyone paying attention. There you go. "  Sorry Jean-Jacques, we're not interested in you, you can die! On the other hand, there are twelve of us on the commander! " Besides, what does the commander have to say?

"Katniss... I'm going to die, I know it.
" "No, come on!
" "Katniss... don't lie to me... what's my skin color?
" "Um, I... you're... more like... African-American?
" "That's what I told you: I'm going to die.
" "Okay, so now, yes.
" "Katniss, don't trust anyone... I know what you really want to do... kill Snow...
" "How can you know?
" "... well, uh... that's not the point... here, take the Hollow... it only obeys one person... wait, I'll reconfigure it: Hollow, transfer of command. Recipient: Katniss Everdeen. Go ahead, Katniss, read this very simple sentence on the screen so that the Hollow learns to recognize your voice.
"Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn"
"Impeccable." The Hollow is yours, which makes the plot a lot easier. I can die… raaaargh."

And that's the end of the commander. But while everyone else is noticing that, hey, there's Jean-Jacques dying right next door, maybe we could help him too? Then a member of the squad activates a second trap: giant doors lock all access to the square (yes, the guys discreetly installed giant doors, it's incredibly believable), and from the top of the immense monument that dominated the place, what looks like...

“  Poop! Run! ”

Hey, ho, I'm trying to come up with something credible, like sewer redirection. Otherwise, you'll have to explain to me where the guys found about 1 million liters of a mysterious black substance before storing it all on top of a monument where there was only 15 cubic meters of available space. So it'll be poop, and that way, we'll stay on the theme of the film.
