The Berlin-based company launched its Apptrace tool on Tuesday , a mobile app analysis service. The result has been a set of interesting statistics such as the discovery of almost 400,000 apps without downloads from the App Store or the existence of around 2,000 flashlight apps.
“The reality is that only about 2,000 apps bc data india are going to generate any kind of downloads,” Adeven CEO Christian Henschel told GigaOm. “This is due to Apple’s closed system that makes it difficult to discover these types of apps. The system doesn’t offer the user a proper search, so the only way to discover new apps is through the Top List,” Henschel said.

“If you are not on those lists, no one guarantees that you will be discovered by others. The top 25 tend to be the same companies that spend millions of dollars to get to the top of those lists. If you are an independent publisher, with a small app, then it is very difficult to be discovered,” added the Adeven advisor. The tool used for the analysis, Apptrace, is a free resource that collects iOS data from the 155 countries where the App Store is present.Smartphone Deals

Apple's App Store is full of apps. Some are free or at very affordable prices and others can cost up to 800 euros. This was confirmed by another report presented at the beginning of July by the European mobile advertising network Madvertise. The analysis stated that these applications, with such high prices, are aimed at a professional public that uses their mobile or tablet as a work tool and uses these applications as a personal assistant.
