We have to take into account that Google updates its algorithm about 600 times a year , so there are between 2 and 3 updates a day, which are usually minimal and we hardly notice them, but from time to time it decides to do something strong (as in this case) and there are SEOs who tremble and stop sleeping…
Let's explain what this latest update consists of and what it aims to achieve.
Google Fred , in my opinion, would be a mix of Penguin and Panda , but with the added benefit of penalizing websites full of advertising that are only intended to make money with affiliate programs. Thus, Fred would pursue benefits of using a turkey phone number list websites with low-quality content , few and poor-quality links, and sites full of advertising banners .
It seems that this update has not yet been noticed much in Spain, but in the US there are many sites that have been affected and have stopped ranking, which in turn has led them to lose thousands of visits.
By the way, and before finishing, I want to tell you that it is said that Fred's name comes from the famous cartoon Fred Flintstone .
If I could ask Google two questions, they would be : will this update also penalize websites full of Adsense ? And will the next update be called Pablo Mármol?
