To start Site Audit you just need to select the scope of the crawl – all subdomains of the site, a domain, a subdomain or a specific folder –, the limit of pages to analyze and the crawl source (it can be the website or the sitemap; in the first case the tool scans your site like GoogleBot, through the links it sees in the code of your page, starting from the home page; in the second case, it only scans the URLs it finds in the sitemap from the robots.txt file – you can also specifically enter the URL of the Sitemap).
