Why is it worth blogging?
It’s probably better to ask: why not? Blogs offer a lot of benefits. Sure, it takes time to find a topic, gather information, create content for publication, optimize it for SEO, design a graphic design, and promote posts. However, once your blog is online, it will “work” for you.

Blogs can help with the following:

build trust among your readers (by promoting you as an expert in a specific field),
make it easier for your target group to reach you, especially if you have created an SEO blog,
attract "strangers" and turn them into "visitors/customers" (so-called inbound marketing).
If you don't have enough time to write a blog yourself, no worries! Contact GROW and our specialists will help you!

Four Tips for Writing an Effective SEO Blog
Deciding that you should blog is one thing, but actually writing an SEO blog is another matter entirely. If you follow these tips, you’ll be up and running in no time.

1. Blog topic and title
TOPIC: One topic in one post
When choosing a topic, think about your audience: what problems and questions do they face? You should present your readers with content worth saving or sharing. Don’t write about yourself, but write about your specialist skills related to your sector. And remember: focus on one topic per post.
To help you decide what to write about, create a list of potential blog topics. The following questions can be helpful for brainstorming (as can the HubSpot Blog Idea Generator ).

What questions are current and potential customers asking themselves?
What kind of help might your potential client need?
What would people like to know about your industry?
What information are your competitors and industry sharing?
A very useful tip: combine topics that are designed to lead a website user to perform the same action or respond to the same call to action (CTA), e.g. content marketing blogs that offer downloadable content marketing eBooks.

Next, see what keyword combinations are performing best for the topics you’ve listed: What keyword phrases are your prospects and industry insiders using? What terms are they searching for in Google? It’s important to gather as much information as possible about this topic to make sure your blog shows up high in your prospects’ search results (read more about SEO in point 2).

TITLE: the more specific the better
The title is meant to attract the reader, so you need to make sure it's a good one.

The more specific the title, the better: this way, your readers will know exactly what to expect from the text.
Clearly explain the benefits of reading your blog: what your readers will learn from it.
In your title, use a key phrase that relates to your blog content. At the same time, always make sure that the title sounds natural: you are writing primarily for readers, not for Google.
Limit the number of characters in your title to 50-60 so that search engines like Google can display it as a readable preview.
For example, take a look at the title of this blog: “Want to write an effective SEO blog? Got it!”

You know exactly what to expect: here are some tips on how to write an effective SEO blog. The question in the title is a gentle provocation, and the exclamation point at the end entices the reader (but be careful not to overdo it and come off as too "showy").
The keyword is “SEO blogging”: this is the phrase our target group searches for in Google, so this exact combination of words appears throughout the text.
Our title is 34 characters long so it will look perfect in the search results list.
