Bluetooth Auracast will replace headphones

Like the Qi2 charger, Bluetooth Auracast is one of the tech standards that was unveiled at CES 2024. We're excited about Auracast and think "it's going to really change the way we interact with our headphones."
Why? It lets you “listen” to devices you’re not “paired” to. And that can quickly lead to a number of benefits—like hearing airport announcements so you don’t miss your flight and listening to TV at a sports bar.
Another advantage of Auracast is that you can connect to multiple devices at once - for example, your colleague can quickly share audio with you from their Windows laptop or iPhone (with a password to prevent accidental listeners). It can even be used to join public speaking sessions. Auracast is still available with limited device support, but expect to hear a lot more from it in 2024.
AI gadget next-gen voice assistant
Over the past decade, smartphones have replaced countless gadgets, but 2024 will be different if we follow the example of the Rabbit R1.
A mysterious portable gadget that lets you speak to your favorite apps in natural language, ending the era of endless "scrolling" on smartphones, has become one of the unexpected stars of the show.
It's too early to say whether this gadget will actually live up to the hype, but it has set a certain standard for future gadgets, and we hope that at least half of them will be as good as this device developed by Teenage Engineering.
E-Ink will allow us to personalize our laptops and phones
This isn't a new technology, nor is its use on laptops an innovation, but CES 2024 showed that the concept has matured enough to become mainstream. The Lenovo ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE laptop was one such example, which used E-Ink Prism technology to add not just images but animation to the cover.
Chinese accessories company Infinix is also using similar technology for phones that can change colors without using up too much power. Although the examples from Lenovo and Infinix are still in the concept stage, we hope to see this technology in action this year.
Smart ring will replace smartwatches
The smart ring has been the most popular. It's not a new concept, as the Oura Ring egypt cell phone database proves, but we'll see competing rings this year, including the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy Ring.
At CES, we saw the Amazfit Helio Ring as a truly impressive health tracker. It's also worth noting that the Evie smart ring is making a comeback after its launch last year. Not all smart rings are designed to track sleep and steps - the Lotus ring is a controller that lets you control your smart home devices, but it also has to be made by Lotus.
Yes, there will definitely be competition for the title of best smart ring this year, although it is clear that the popularity of smartwatches will decline.

The neural headset is ready to read your thoughts
The best headphones aren't just about delivering super-quality audio, sound isolation, and a comfortable design that makes you forget you're wearing headphones. Manufacturers are also planning interesting experiments: this year we'll talk about neural technologies.
