The power plant building consisted of several types of spaces for various purposes, which were also matched by the material design. As in the original technical building, concrete dominates here both structurally and visually. The southern part has two above-ground floors and an attic. The floors contain exhibition spaces, and the attic houses the foundation's office facilities. The central part has two above-ground floors and an inserted mezzanine, which forms the entrance area and reveals the generosity of the entire building. The other floors are exhibition spaces. The basement spaces are used to house technology and for depositories. A secondary function of the gallery is to organize conferences, ideologically similar presentation events, and teaching and education with the possibility of organizing workshops and art workshops. It also houses office space for the foundation's operations. The Kunsthalle also includes an Artshop, a restaurant, a café and a non-publicly accessible space for the safe storage of artworks.
