Another source of daylight is a long atypical skylight at the western ridge of the roof, and locally an upper skylight above the lower part of the superstructure. The new solution for the middle wing retains a flat roof, which is divided into volumes. Most of the original facade filling structures were professionally dismantled, removed and returned during the conversion before construction began. The others were replaced with new structures in the original position and shape. For museum purposes, a gate has been added on the north side for the transport of art objects.

The central part has two above-ground floors and an inserted mezzanine, which forms the entrance area and reveals the generosity of the entire building. The other floors are exhibition spaces. The basement spaces are used to house technology and for depositories. A secondary function of the gallery is to organize conferences, ideologically similar presentation events, and teaching and education with the possibility of organizing workshops and art workshops. It also houses office space for the foundation's operations. The Kunsthalle also includes an Artshop, a restaurant, a café and a non-publicly accessible space for the safe storage of artworks.
