a superb working budget, plenty of freedom canada whatsapp number data to experiment, good working coIn 2021, I decided to leave a stable job as a digital marketing director at a company with a good team, nditions, and strong leadership to launch myself as an independent consultant.
Today, 3 years later, I'm earning 5 times more while working the same number of hours per week, and I have much more freedom than I did back then.
All thanks to my focus on being a good strategist: designing products, understanding the market, and knowing how to grow companies through marketing and sales.
Being a strategist has led me to much more than just a digital marketing career. It's led me to found companies, build the life I want, and sell services based on my own experience and results.
I talk a lot about marketing, but today I'm really more focused on growing our clients' businesses and revenue, and our own companies:
Consulting & Services
SHIFT - B2B Marketing & Sales Consulting for companies that sell to other companies and service businesses
Amplifica - Personal Branding for Executives & Service Professionals
Training & Coaching
Brich Academy - High-Impact Communication School for Managers, Executives, and Professionals
Spartan Sales - Training School for Consultative Salespeople
And in this article I'm going to share with you exactly how I did it.
These strategies will be especially useful if:
You already work as a freelancer and want to take the next step in your business.
You want to go from being an employee to having your own business
You have knowledge and skills that you can offer as services but you are not monetizing them yet.
By the way: up until today, in these three years, I've never had to go out looking for a client. Not that this is bad or anything. But it's a huge level of peace of mind knowing that your clients will come to you instead of you having to go out looking for them.
They all come through the digital media I work with or through recommendations.
So, what changed, and how did I do it? And most importantly, how could you replicate what I did to achieve similar results?
That's exactly what I want to explain to you today.
The basis of everything and the context
Before we start we have to understand the basis of everything.
Above all, growing a service business comes down to this: solving problems people value and getting paid well for it. Period.
