Keeping this in mind when creating the product, then it has everything to be successful in terms of green marketing. There are still some issues that the company must pay attention to, or rather, some letters. Read:

3 Rs: reduce, reuse and recycle;
4 Ss: safety, sustainability, consumer satisfaction and social acceptance.
As we can see, it is not enough to simply not use environmentally friendly components (such as vegan beauty products). It is necessary to ensure that the product is culturally and socially respected, that it does not harm the environment in the future, and that it is sustainable and safe at the same time, taking into account consumer satisfaction.

It really isn't something easy to achieve, after all, in the world for around 80 years, it only gained greater strength after the 90s and especially today.

However, it is extremely important that companies and their products adapt to this new sales line, as it will become even more present in the coming years.

What is greenwashing?
What is greenwashing?
And what is greenwashing? If green marketing is the good phone number library part of the movement, greenwashing is the opposite of that. Greenwashing marks a type of hypocrisy or lack of sustainable ethics, carried out by companies that seek to surf a wave that they are not part of, defending something that they do not actually do.

Is it hard to understand? Well, greenwashing in Portuguese means “green washing”. Companies that apply greenwashing are those that proclaim themselves “eco-friendly” or sustainable, but use this only to promote the brand for a specific moment or even continuously, but do not exercise this in practice.

Greenwashing can be classified under Article 67 of Brazilian law as misleading advertising, and has been done on several occasions. There are many companies, especially food and beauty products, that sell their products claiming that they do not harm the environment, or do not contain a specific natural component.

When we analyze it in practice, this is not exactly how it happens. In this way, the company that practices greenwashing can be prosecuted and the owner can be sentenced to up to 3 years in prison and a fine, according to the False Advertising Law.
