Do you have any perception of the “copy panorama” here in Italy? Do you think that national companies know how to frame and evaluate the weight of a copywriter?
In one adjective, I think that in Italy the communication chinese overseas america phone number data landscape is bleak. The marketing departments of many companies are in the hands of people who have never worked in advertising, who do not look at what is done abroad and who learn the trade from other people who have never worked in advertising and who have never looked at what was done abroad.
This mortifies the efforts of agencies, which have real talent within but are only able to show it intermittently, because money is desperately needed and they end up satisfying the client, which in practice means flattening creativity based on feedback or starting out already defeated, that is, lowering expectations from the start, which is even worse.
If we then focus on those who do copywriting within companies, the situation is even worse; however, I am convinced that sooner or later things will change. We just need to wake up.
Education: Who were (or continue to be) your mentors?
Most of what I know I learned during my years in Cayenne. There I met a couple of people I envied and continue to envy today, especially for their ease of writing and thinking, but I prefer to keep the names to myself.
