To access the camera, swipe the screen to the right. The Reels feature should be available at the bottom. If you don't see it, you have an old version of the app. Update Instagram and after opening the camera, you'll see tools for navigation, shooting, editing, and other settings.
How to create a clip? Press and hold the large record button located at the bottom of the screen. The progress bar at the top will allow you to monitor the duration of the recording as it progresses. It will shop gradually move to the right.

If you like the video, start adding text, stickers, masks, object projections and pictures. To do this, use the icons at the top of the screen. Once you're done with the design, go to preview mode. If you like everything, save the video and add it to the Reels gallery, feed or stories.

You can share a video in stories only before it is posted to the feed. After that, this function will no longer be available. Remember that the caption under the video should not exceed 2200 characters. Otherwise, the video will be added without a post. The clip that you shot but did not publish will be found in the drafts.

Uploading finished videos
Before you begin, be sure to read the video requirements in Facebook Help. Keep in mind that
Only videos in .mov and .mp4 formats are allowed to be uploaded;
standard compression in the settings is H.264, stereo sound is AAC (bitrate from 128 kbps), pixels are square;
It is recommended to maintain an aspect ratio of 9:16;
The optimal resolution for reels on Instagram is 500x888 pixels;
It is not necessary to supplement the video with text and sound, but it is recommended.
You can create a suitable creative from a series of images thanks to the Canva service. There are many ready-made templates and pictures. You can upload your own images, add text using the desired fonts, sizes and color scheme. Effective animation of inscriptions is also available.
Once you've finished editing, select the length of the reels, then download it to your computer or phone (in .mp4 format by default). Next, upload the video to Instagram by clicking the square button at the bottom left of the Reels tab.

A video from images can be made in the advertising account itself, using the built-in video editor.
